TAG Infrastructure Talk – Introduction
Alan Poole:
Hi, my name's Alan Poole. I'm a partner at Troutman Pepper and I specialize in communications infrastructure. I'm excited to bring to you a new podcast called TAG Infrastructure Talks. I'll be partnering with the Technology Association of Georgia's Infrastructure Society, or TAG Infrastructure for short, to bring you this new content.
We'll be bringing you a series of monthly conversations with industry experts, covering the most important topics, issues and opportunities in the infrastructure industry as it concerns Georgia and the Southeast.
Georgia is lucky to have both a well-developed ecosystem and room for exciting new growth and opportunities in the infrastructure field. The power industry is top of the line, both in terms of traditional power delivery and innovation. The data center industry is investing heavily in this state, with many experts considering Georgia to be the top market for data centers.
Public-private partnerships are becoming more and more common. Now seen as vital to tackling major development in infrastructure. What's more, the major investment expected from the federal infrastructure bill is putting infrastructure and the spotlight more than ever before. So we'll have plenty to cover.
Whether you are an industry expert, an aspiring professional looking to develop expertise, or a student looking for exciting new opportunities, we think TAG Infrastructure Talk will be the right place for your eyes and ears for months to come.
We'll be rolling out our first episode soon in mid-July with a conversation between me and Sarah Ellis. Sarah is the chair of TAG Infrastructure and also a construction entrepreneur who has made her way from traditional construction and into specialty in data centers.
We're looking forward to you joining us.
